About Us

Our Story

Climbing is a powerful tool for connection. It’s about challenging yourself, celebrating success, and building a crew. That community is the heart of Alpine: a diverse group who share a love for the climb and a commitment to supporting one another. Here, everyone has a place on the wall.

The Team

Alpine began with a simple idea: the Gold Coast needed more than just a place to climb—it needed a place for climbers to connect.

For years, finding that community meant driving for hours. Our founders, Kirsty and Jamie Booth, knew there had to be a better way to bring people together. In 2019, driven by the goal of creating a local hub for the sport, they opened the doors to Alpine.

Today, that small idea has grown into a vibrant tribe. Our team is bigger, but our purpose remains the same: to support every person who walks through our doors on their climbing journey.

The Setting Team

The Creative Architects of Alpine.

Setting the Standard. You might not always see them, but they define your session. Our route setters are the creative engine of Alpine—and quite simply, the best in their field. They don’t just bolt holds to the wall; they craft movement.

Their philosophy is rigorous: every climb, from your first A1 to your hardest project, must flow perfectly. Combining technical mastery with creativity, our team ensures that Alpine isn’t just a place to train—it’s home to the highest quality climbing on the Coast.

Travelling Route Setters

By working with route setters from around the globe, we aim to offer alternative climbs that push the boundaries of creativity and skill.
We welcome any professional setter to get in touch if you are in the area to come have a guest set with us.

Don’t take our word for it.
