Through difficult times we are faced with tough decisions. As the health of our community and staff are the upmost importance to us, we have decided to postpone Blocfest. Although this isn’t yet a directive from authorities, we have decided to step up our measures in response to COVID-19 and celebrate at a later date with our entire community together.
We do not make this decision lightly and will continue to provide further updates as we monitor advice from authorities and the World Health Organisation. We will adapt our response to the situation as and when required.
We will still be closing our doors for Thursday & Friday (19th & 20th March) to re-set the gym with our guest setter, Garry Williams (Head Route Setter from Northside Boulders). Over these two days, our team will strip as many walls as we can and thoroughly clean the walls, holds and gym.
Please be aware of our openings times for this week below. With the external situation evolving, our times may need to be changed. Please keep an eye on our socials for our latest opening hours.
Wednesday 18th March – normal hours
Thursday 19th March – CLOSED
Friday 20th March – CLOSED
Saturday 21st March – normal hours
Sunday 22nd March – normal hours
We understand this may cause upset, but we assure you that Blocfest will still be held in the future, with the date yet to be confirmed. All current entries will be held for the future competition. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to make other arrangements.
We thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.
Stay tuned & stay safe,
