Alpine’s Annual Members Only Competition
Get ready for the most anticipated climbing event of the year! The Alpine Games is a social competition that brings our community together, and this year promises to be bigger than ever. With qualifiers running over five weeks at Robina and Currumbin, you’ll face epic challenges set by our route setters.
There’s always a twist, and this year we are introducing a Teams category! Whether you compete individually in the Open Male or Female categories or gather a team of three, there’s a spot for all members. Track your points with Toplogger, and aim to be one of the top 6 men, 6 women, or the top 3 teams to advance to this years final.
QUALIFICATIONS:
DATES: Monday 30th September to Wednesday 30th October 2024
LOCATION: Alpine Robina & Currumbin
During the 5-week qualifiers at each gym, certain boulders in the new reset will be marked with a special competition tag, indicating they’re part of the competition. These boulders will be the only ones visible in the ‘Competitions Section’ on Toplogger.
You’ll have the entire 5 weeks to complete these boulders at your own pace.
FINALS:
DATES: Saturday 2nd November 2024
LOCATION: Alpine Currumbin
The finals will kick off with the Teams competition, followed by the Open finals after a short break. More details will be shared closer to the event.
This is a very social members competition, so we encourage everyone to join in for the qualifiers and celebrate with us at our Members’ Party on finals night.

You can only enter one category—either as part of a team (3 competitors in each team) or in the individual Open category, but not both. Make sure to register your category when you sign up.
If you’re interested in the Teams category but don’t have a group, talk to our team—we might be able to connect you with others.
HOW TO REGISTER:
Registration for The Alpine Games 2024 opens on Wednesday 4th of September! To sign up, log into Toplogger, head to ‘Competitions’ in the sidebar, and click ‘Participate’ in The Alpine Games 2024. Once approved, you can start logging your climbs when the comp kicks off on Monday, September 30th. This event is open to all current members.
If you have your team of 3 competitors ready, you will need to sign up individually in the ‘Teams’ category. To link your team, add your team name to the end of your last name in your Toplogger profile—for example, ‘Robert Jackson – The A3 Musketeers‘.
We encourage you to get creative with your team names and keep us entertained! While your scores will be tracked individually, we’ll also keep a running total of your team’s performance across the gyms.
