Climbing Culture Climbing Elevates
Our Connection

The History

Climbing has long been perceived as a discipline reserved for a very close-knit of intrepid misfits with colourful outfits and long hair, living from vans at the foot of the mountains. Recently, climbing is no longer an inaccessible hobby.

With the arrival of indoor climbing gyms, our sport, movement, adventure and culture has been shared.

Today, climbing is mainstream and not just for the outliers. Climbing is more than a sport, it’s a lifestyle, an escape, a tribe.

With the introduction to the 2020 Olympics, climbing has seen a growth in content. One of the best movies to summarise our dirt bag origins is Valley Uprising.

Climbing & Sustainability At Alpine

The essence of the climber is still at the base of the mountains and forests. As such we are linked to nature and its protection. As an indoor facility we believe we play a role in education and preservation of our local crags and access areas.

Who Are We

About Team

Opened by passionate climbers that were driven to create something that didn’t yet exist.

For years of driving hours to go climbing and training we decided we needed to create what we wanted to be a part of. From that decision it was a long haul of work and dedication to open in 2019 and bring everyone multiple facilities and one amazing community.

Today we are a much bigger team still gathered around the same values and passion of climbing.
